OMB Welcomes New Staff

OMB recently hired two new staff members. Jenny Weber is Olympia Master Builders' (OMB) new receptionist and Mark Bigelow is filling the newly created position of Government Affairs Associate.

"Jenny and Mark are a great addition to the OMB staff team.  They both understand the value of private property rights and the issues that face small business owners," commented Laura Kimbrough, OMB's Executive Officer.

Jenny recently graduated from Washington State University with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.  She is a hard worker who earned her way through college while maintaining a high GPA. She replaces Regina Adams who has moved from OMB's receptionist position to Event Coordinator.

Mark has an economics degree from Brigham Young University and just recently returned from Europe where he had played professional basketball since 2004. Mark and his wife Terra have a two-year old daughter Halle.

"As the list of government affairs issues that OMB is working on continues to grow it was time to add an additional staff person. Mark will be handling all issues in Lewis, Pacific and Grays Harbor Counties and some specific issues in Thurston County," stated Kimbrough. "I'm excited about the talent both Jenny and Mark bring to OMB.  I believe our members will enjoy getting to know both of them."
