Recruitment is Everybody's GameRecruitment is something every proud Olympia Master Builders (OMB) member should be doing. Recruitment strengthens and builds OMB. There would be no OMB if it wasn't for the members!
Membership is not a hard sell. It's always good to have a general idea of the different OMB benefits, but you don't have to be an expert; we have staff to back you up! I have found the Return on Industrial Insurance (ROII) program, the Health Benefits and the Government Affairs programs are all big sellers.
OMB has so much to offer building industry professionals. When I am promoting OMB to the people I meet I always try to match the individual with the best selling point. When that doesn't work I try bribery or threats, just kidding! Of course I never have to resort to those tactics, because OMB has so much to offer!
If a potential member shows an interest in a certain benefit, let them know you will have an expert follow up with them. Then remember to call the office at (360) 754-0912 and have Angela Barbre, OMB's Membership Marketing Coordinator, call your prospect with more information.
