OMB Tour of Homes™
Awards Presented

The Olympia Master Builders held the 2007 West Coast Bank Tour of Homes™ Awards Banquet at the September 12 General Membership Dinner Meeting that was held at the Indian Summer Golf Club.

According to the Tour of Homes™ Committee Chair, Gary Rust of Mutual Materials, "This year's tour included a record breaking 30 homes and demonstrated to the community our builders' passion for excellence." Please see the full-color insert for complete details of the award winners.

The public at large voted on homes for the People's Choice Awards. A team of industry experts, from outside the Thurston County area comprised the panel of judges, to select the Judges' Awards. Judges looked at overall first impressions, attention to detail, balance and function, relationship of design to site, special features and more in deciding who should get top honors.

Trong Hong, of Tronie Homes, accepts one of his three awards. Tronie Homes won the People's Choice Award for Best Kitchen and Master Suite and the Judges' Award for Best Master Suite.
Chris McDonald of The Artisans Group accepts the Judges' Award for Best Remodel.

Scott Bergford of Scott Homes Inc. accepts one of two awards. Scott Homes won People's Choice Award for Best in Show and Judges' Award for Best Kitchen.
John Erwin of John Erwin Remodeling and his staff accept the People’s Choice Award for Best Remodel.

Hayley Cole of MC Construction Consultants accepts one of four awards. MC Construction Consultants won the People's Choice and Judges' Awards for Best Curb Appeal and Best Floor Plan.
Barrett Burr of Polar Bear Construction accepts one of two awards the Judges' Awarded for Best in Show and Special "Most Innovative" Award.
