Connecting the Dots
One of the most rewarding things about my job is getting to see the "big picture" of the Olympia Master Builders (OMB) efforts and how everything the association does connects together.  As we enter into this campaign season, I wanted to share my perspective on how the dots connect.  [ more ]

Drum Roll Please - the winner of the Business Examiner's 2008 Top Place to Work in the over 25 employees category recently was awarded to The Artisan's Group.  Congratulations to Randy Foster, Chris McDonald and the rest of their team.

3 for 3 - at the South Pacific County Chapter's May dinner meeting all three of the Chapter's Spikes (Ray Bowman of C-3 Design Center, Steve Waltemate of SAW Construction Co., and Brad Wilson of B.T. Wilson Construction) were in attendance, proudly wearing their Spike Apparel!  And, they were talking about how to recruit more new members - good job guys!

Send her to Vegas!  Linda Mosier-Vaudt of Pro Build was the epitome of Lady Luck at the May General Membership Meeting.  First, she won the $104 in the Spike Club 50/50 drawing!  Then, the next ticket drawn for the bouquet of roses from Steve Short of A Steve's Professional Truck Mounted Steam Cleaning belonged to Linda. She graciously let another winning ticket be drawn.  Finally, the framed Iris print from Vaughn Marsten at Versata was the last drawing of the night...another one of Linda's tickets was pulled again! Once again, she let another member's ticket be drawn.  We don't remember the last time a single member pulled a trifecta of the General Membership drawings, but it sure was a lucky night for Linda!  We appreciate her good and gracious sportsmanship.
