29th Annual OMB Golf Tournament Results
On July 24, over 100 people teed off for the 29th Annual Nicholson Cup Golf Tournament held at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.  [more]

The Twin Harbors Chapter Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by Timberland Bank will be held on Saturday, August 23.   For the first time this tournament will be held at the Oaksridge Golf Course.  [more]

OMB Tour of Homes™ Featured Twelve Homes
On the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August, the 2008 Tour of Homes(tm) was held here in Thurston County. This year's Olympia Tour featured 12 sites, including one remodel project.  [more]

OMB Events

Elected Officials Reception a Success

On Wednesday, January 30 Olympia Master Builders (OMB) hosted the 1st Annual Elected Officials Reception at the OMB office. Eleven elected officials from five jurisdictions: Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Thurston County and Port of Olympia participated in the well-attended event.

OMB members were able to talk one on one with officials while enjoying Hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Among those officials attending were: Commissioner, Diane Oberquell; Commissioner of the Port of Olympia, Paul Telford; Olympia City Councilwoman, Joan Machlis; Lacey Councilmember, Virgil Clarkson; Olympia City Councilman, Jason Hearn; and Deputy Mayor of Lacey John Darby.
