OMB Events

Remodelers Excellence (REX) Awards

What are these REX awards you have been hearing about? Well, the REX Awards are designed to recognize outstanding projects completed by remodeler members of Olympia Master Builders (OMB).

How do you enter? The remodeler fills out an application, available upon request, and following the guidelines for submitting a project. There are several categories that may apply to your finished project, such as: residential exterior, kitchen, bath; addition to whole house remodel; commercial remodel; and historic renovation /restoration.

Here is how it works. The remodeler submits an application and photos of each project they are entering. The portfolios are judged by a panel of judges within each category. Judges select the winners based on specific criteria. To honor the remodelers' excellence there is an awards banquet in May. The winners are also published in our monthly newsletter the Chalkline and will be featured in our 2008-2009 RemodelNOW magazine.
