Yes! You Can Start Earning
"Fun in a Box!"

Angela Barbre
Membership Marketing Coordinator

Someone asked me at a recent Olympia Master Builders (OMB) event if they were able to recruit for the latest "Fun in a Box" contest (click here to view the "Fun in a Box" flyer).  This person wanted to win the prizes but didn't think they were eligible.  My answer was, "YES!  OF COURSE!"  This question got me thinking; not everyone knows how recruitment works.

Every member of OMB can and should recruit new members.  This makes every member eligible to take part in the recruitment contest taking place.  You don't have to be a part of Spike Club to recruit.  In fact, recruiting new members into OMB is the only way you can become a member of the Spike Club.  Spike credits are earned by the number of new members you recruit.

There is no paperwork to fill out or meeting to attend to start recruiting for any of OMB's contests.  All you need to do is start talking to people you do business with about membership.  Tell them what OMB does for you and what OMB has to offer.  If you think they are interested in membership give me a call and I can get them more information or call them to explain OMB member benefits.  When a new company joins and writes your name down as their sponsor and you will get credit towards the latest contest.  That is pretty simple!

An Association is only as strong as its members, which makes recruitment of new members one of the most important works you can do. Call or email me at (360) 754-0912 or angela@omb.org  if you have any questions or would like extra applications to start handing out to potential new members.
