OMB Seeks Street of Dreams Site
for 2007, 2008

The Olympia Master Builders Association is putting out a call to developers for both the 2007 and 2008 Street of Dreams location.

Features of a prospective Street of Dreams site should include five to eight adjacent lots for the show homes. These lots would ideally be at the end of a cul de sac, or along a street that can be secured and blocked off.

"We are not interested in fancy proposal packages", said Karen McClennen of The Olympian, and Chair to several past Street of Dreams events. "What we would like to see is a simple letter of interest that includes: plat map, lot prices, projected cost of homes, projected start dates for construction on the homes, plus the prospect of additional lots in the development being made available to builder-participants."

Proposals for the 2007 event should be at the Olympia Master Builders office no later than Friday, December 29. There has already been an expressed interest in the 2008 Street of Dreams site selection, and any new proposals for 2008 should be into the OMB office by March 31, 2007. Letters of interest and other pertinent information can be mailed to the Olympia Master Builders at 1211 State Ave NE, Olympia, WA 98506.
