Home Show Biggest and Best Yet!

The Olympia Master Builders (OMB) 2007 Big Home and Garden Show was held September 14, 15, and 16 at St. Martin's Pavilion in Lacey.

According to Greg Stevens, the Chair of this year's Home Show committee, "The Big Home and Garden Show was the Biggest Big Home and Garden Show that Olympia Master Builders (OMB) has ever seen! Vendors were busy all weekend with the large number of people who turned out for the show. Several vendors commented that it was an excellent lead source, and they plan to be back next year!"

There was a standing-room only crowd by the Venture Bank Main Stage during Ciscoe Morris and Meegan Black's "Brussels Sprouts and Bloopers" program on Saturday afternoon.

In addition several OMB members presented seminars on a variety of home-related topics. This year's show was enhanced by the participation of the Hands On Children's Museum who entertained the kids all three days of the show.

On Sunday afternoon, just before the conclusion of the event, one lucky winner scored $7,809.28 in cash in 97.7 FM The Eagle's "What's in the Nest" promotion.

As in past years, the Hawk's Prairie Rotary Club of Lacey handled ticket sales and the Parking Lot Shuttles.
