OMB Tour of Homes™ Featured Twelve Homes

On the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August, the 2008 Tour of Homes(tm) was held here in Thurston County. This year's Olympia Tour featured 12 sites, including one remodel project. Participating builders included:

  • Parthenon Construction
  • Peretti-Ryser
  • Polar Bear Construction
  • Schneider Homes

Two of the homes on this year's Tour were Built Green(r), incorporating environmentally conscious design and materials into the homes. Built Green(r) is becoming more and more relevant and mainstream in today's society, and the Tour of Homes(tm) was an excellent venue to educate the public and show that going Green can easily work into just about anyone's lifestyle.

The public was invited to vote for their favorite homes in the People's Choice Awards.  Winners of the People's Choice Awards will be announced at OMB's September 10, General Membership Meeting at Indian Summer Golf and Country Club.
