A POWERFUL VOICE IN GOVERNMENT

LOCAL - The Olympia Master Builders has an effective political action program in the cities and counties within its territory. We monitor regulatory changes such as permit fees, codes, zoning, planning, administrative reviews, procedures and policies. We regularly present our positions on these issues at appropriate hearings.

STATE - The Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW), located in Olympia, is the voice of the housing industry in the state of Washington. Their primary focus is to interact with the Legislative, Regulatory, Judicial and Executive Agencies of Washingtons government.

NATIONAL - The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) represents over 80,000 member companies across the land. Their offices are in Washington, D.C., where the highly trained staff represents your interests before various Congressional committees, subcommittees and federal departments and agencies.

MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILEGES

REGENCE BLUE SHIELD HEALTH INSURANCE- Through our state association the BIAW, we are one of the largest customers for Regence Blue Shield in the state of Washington. SUPPLEMENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM - Provides low cost coverage and fills in gaps in regular coverage in program available only to members. Call Leonard Terzenbach, Pacific Insurance, at 509-869-8135.

CUT ADVERTISING COSTS - Advertise in the promotional material in one of our many events such as: Tour of Homes, Street of Dreams, Big Home and Garden Show, the Chalkline or RemodelNOW magazine. Collective advertising is effective and affordable.

REFERRAL SERVICE - Our Association offers new business leads for Builders, Remodelors and selected trades through its referral programs. Call 360-754-0912.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES  - With over 1,000 member companies and many committees, councils and events, you can pick and choose where to network and met your clients, business partners and suppliers.

HEALTH CLUB - The Valley Athletic Club offers all OMB members a 30% discount on membership joining fees.
